Say Their Names!
Genocide in Gaza,
18,500 Children Victims
#SayHerName! The 2014 police killings of Eric Garner and Michael Brown sparked a wave of nationwide protest over lethal police killings. But police brutality of Black women was largely ignored. The “Say! Her! Name!” and the #SayHerName campaigns were born to end the invisibility of Black women, girls, and femmes by telling their stories of police violence.1
On July 30th, the Washington Post published the names of 18,500 children murdered in the US-Israeli genocide on the people of Gaza. July 30 was Day 663 of the Israeli attack on Gaza, in which over 60,000 people had been killed. The deliberate starvation of the surviving Palestinian people and the continuing daily bombardments and shootings are rapidly increasing this total.

In the spirit of the “Say Her Name” and “Say Their Names” movements, the Revolutionary News Today Collective presents the link to the Washington Post article. We urge our readers to honor these children, to say their names and to “end their invisibility”. Palestinian children have been killed at a rate of more than one per hour since the war began. https://wapo.st/3UJe16V
The RNT Collective recognizes that: Israel is carrying out a systematic genocide of the Palestinian people and that its leader, Benjamin Netanyahu, is a war criminal.
This genocide could not have begun and would not continue without the direct participation of the U.S. government. Both Joe Biden and Donald Trump are war criminals.
The Israeli Defense Forces and National Police train American police and ICE agents in the violent suppression of demonstrations, in surveillance and in racial profiling and selective harassment.2,3 The tactics being taught to US law enforcement were battle-tested on Palestinians.
We cannot provide a future for our children if there is no future for Palestinian children.
We must act before it is too late. We cannot rely on the Democrats to fight for our children. They work for the capitalist class, just like the Republicans. No, we must do it ourselves.
The working class must unite as a class and defend the interests of every one of us.
“Our country and the world stand at a crossroads. Humanity has the potential for economic security and abundance. A community of the people, by the people, and for the people, where children can grow in peace, is possible as never before. Or–if we do nothing—we face increasingly unlivable conditions caused by private ownership of the wealth that human labor has created.”4
