Israeli bulldozers destroy homes, schools and hospitals of the Palestinian people. ^1,2

U.S. Park Police bulldozers destroy tents and structures of houseless people.³

The same attack, the same goal: Forced evacuation and cleansing in order to free land for private development and profit.

In the U.S. it is also a key part of the fascist program to seize power in America – attack the most vulnerable first and then the rest of the American people.

The Plan, Blame the Houseless for causing Houselessness.

Trump’s Executive Order 14321 is named “Ending Crime and Disorder on America’s Streets.”⁴It directs the federal government to stop funding housing and to start tracking the drug and alcohol consumption of the houseless. In Washington DC, Trump ordered bulldozers to knock down the tent encampments and to move the houseless “far away”.³

Trump’s Executive Order

Trump’s Executive Order is designed to help the landlords continue to enrich themselves at our expense, the 99 percent who must work for a paycheck. Housing is expensive everywhere, especially in Washington DC where the average renters’ monthly housing cost is $4,371.⁵ The landlords are laughing all the way to the bank.

Executive Orders asserts that the richest 1 percent are morally superior to the rest of us, the 99 percent.

Moral superiority is the logic used by the Israeli government to justify genocide in Gaza.⁶ According to this logic, it’s okay to kill those who aren’t good enough to be citizens of Israel. And it’s okay if only the rich can afford to live in a real house.

We Reject this Poisonous Morality!

The Democrats won’t stop this brutal attack on the 99 percent. Like Trump and the Republicans, they are paid agents of the richest 1 percent. We will have to stop them, and we can because we are the majority.
