DATA BREACH ! at U.S. Treasury by Musk

The Ruling Class has shown what is in store for America. The Age of the Billionaire!  An age leading to both farce and tragedy.

Musk demands federal shutdown. On Wednesday, Congress had to fund the government in 48 hours or the federal government would shut down and a deal was in the works. Suddenly Elon Musk unleashed a frenzy of tweets on his platform, X, demanding that government be shut down for a month until Trump takes office on January 20!

Government shutdowns automatically propel millions of people into poverty! No Social Security! No Medicare! Millions of government workers unemployed!¹

The lines of power are clear, the capitalist class dictates to the government. Trump quickly followed Musk’s directive against the deal, as did JD Vance. Congressional Republicans were groveling and jerked the bill. A new government debt extension was finally signed on Saturday and government shutdown was averted. Musk had no objections this time.

What’s really going on? The lives of millions of Americans were threatened simply to keep the spigot open for corporate profits!

Musk, Tesla and China. The original bill would have made it harder for Musk to build Tesla factories in China, where Musk sells half his cars. And lo and behold, when the new funding bill emerged, that feature was dropped. In fact, all traces of provisions related to China were removed from the bill.

Musk and Drug Prices. Gone from the original bill was a cut to drug prices that would have cut the profits of United Health Care, the second-larger pharmacy benefit manager!¹ UHC denies about 90% of all claims. What, after all, does the world’s richest person know about hardship? Why is he preaching it to Americans, 70% of whom do not have an extra $1000 for a medical crisis?

Musk, Trump and you. Trump has anointed Musk as an unelected expert in cutting the government to the bone. Musk has told Americans that they must get used to hardship. He also stated that his commission’s work would “necessarily involve some temporary hardship.”² Days later, Musk suggested that this budget cutting — combined with Trump’s mass deportation plan — would cause a market-crashing economic “storm.”

Musk and our taxes. Musk is the richest person on earth because he gets more government contracts than any other person or entity. He has turned the out-sourcing of government into a private corporate empire. In other words, public money was the source of his private riches!

Now that Musk will head the non-government body, Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), he plans to cut $2 trillion at minimum from discretionary government spending. That cannot be done except by cutting SSI and Medicare, or cutting the Pentagon.

This is what corporate dictatorship looks like!

The problem. The simple fact is that Musk and his billionaire associates control Trump, Vance and most of the Democratic and Republican parties. They are using the government to openly rob us blind, destroying the environment and education, denying healthcare and pitting us against each other based upon gender, skin color and nationality. They can do this because we permit them to own the tools and technologies of society, the things we all use together.

The solution. The natural balance we so desperately need is impossible as long as we permit them to be owned as private property for private profit. The solution requires public ownership of the means to create wealth – the land, infrastructure, and technology – and distribution according to need. It’s that simple!
