Fascism in Washington D.C.

Fascism is no longer a threat.

It is a reality on the streets of Washington, D.C.

FBI agents and Armed Soldiers Patrol the City.

Police are under Federal control.

Fascism in Washington D.C.

There is open war on the homeless as Federal Park Police clear homeless encampments.

ICE terrorist attacks increase as D.C.’s Sanctuary City program is ended.

And there is more to come!

Trump declared that he is doing this to fight crime. He proclaimed, “I’m announcing a historic action to rescue our nation’s capital from crime, bloodshed, bedlam and squalor and worse. This is Liberation Day in D.C., and we’re going to take our capital back.”

But Trump is a criminal, he does not fight crime he supports it! From LA and ICE to taking over DC to bombing Iran, Trump has defied the Constitution and US laws over and over again. He supports the genocide in Gaza, ICE kidnappings, the starvation of children in the U.S., Gaza and throughout the world. He aids and abets the robbery by the 1% of the wealth we, the 99% of the world, create.

Do not be fooled, this is not a diversion, it is part of a plan to seize political power. Some of the media is telling us that Trump is trying to bury the discussion about his involvement with Jeffrey Epstein. Others are telling us that Trump is a power-hungry autocrat. Both are true, but not are the driving forces behind the D.C. takeover.

The richest 1 percent have a plan to keep power and to maximize the exploitation of the 99 percent. They know that Artificial Intelligence (AI) is going to devastate employment and destabilize society. So the 1 percent is closing ranks by establishing a political system based on violence and tyranny, justified by vague slogans like “Make America Great Again”, “Fight Crime”, and “Deport Illegal Immigrants”.

The takeover of Washington, D.C. is not about reducing crime, it is about crushing resistance to exploitation and state terror.

The 1 percent know that the American people are fighting back. We are organizing to defend our brothers and sisters from ICE kidnappings. Led by increasing numbers of brave students, we are rising up against the genocide in Gaza. The “No Kings” movement is confronting the growing autocratic control of our government, and the struggles for housing, healthcare, education and the environment continue to grow.

The multiple struggles of the American people, indeed those of working and poor people all over the world, are part of the same fight for peace, justice and life. They are small streams uniting into larger rivers and into a vast sea that will wash away the 1 percent.

WE CAN DO THIS, WE MUST DO THIS!
