Stop the U.S. WAR on Venezuela
Fight for WORKING CLASS DEMOCRACY
When the U.S. says that it’ is going to restore “Democracy” in Venezuela, what it really means is to restore “CAPITALIST DEMOCACRY” – the right of the 1% to exploit the Venezuelan people, steal their wealth and destroy their environment. The 15,000 U.S. troops and 11 war ships are in the Caribbean to overthrow the Venezuelan government and replace it with a U.S. puppet.
What’s at stake is $1.7 trillion from the world’s largest oil reserves, vast gas fields, critical minerals and a huge agricultural potential.1
But the people of Venezuela control their natural resources. They believe that the wealth of their country should be used for the benefit of the people of Venezuela, not to increase the wealth of American billionaires.
So, the U.S. is going to use military force to get control of Venezuela’s wealth. This worked before in Guatemala (1954), Brazil (1964), Chile (1973), Haiti (1994) and is a key component of U.S. Latin American strategy.2,3 The plan is to replace Nicolás Maduro, the current leader of Venezuela, with María Corina Machado, who has been on the U.S. payroll since 2003.4
Why María Corina Machado? Speaking at the American Business Forum, Machado made her pitch for CAPITALISY DEMOCRACY in Venezuela.
“I am talking about a $1.7 trillion opportunity, not only in oil and gas, which is huge, and you know that there are opportunities, because we will open all, upstream, midstream, downstream, to all companies; but also in mining, in gold, in infrastructure, power.
We have, our grid right now has a 17-gigawatt opportunity of energy potential that needs to be rehabbed, certainly for technology and AI.
So, this is going to be huge. We will bring rule of law. We will open markets. We will have security for foreign investment, and a transparent, massive privatization program that is waiting for you.”4,5
This is the program of CAPITALIST DEMOCRACY where the 1% – the people who own AI, the media, mines, banks, etc. – are free to squeeze every last penny out of the working class – the 99% who create the wealth.
There is another program WORKING CLASS DEMOCRACY where the wealth of our planet is used to provide everyone with what they need to live a healthy and productive life, a just and peaceful world based on cooperation.
The international working class and the capitalist class are at war. This is a fight between those of us who supply the collective labor that produces wealth and the private owners who steal that wealth. This is a battle for the future, for justice, for peace and for the survival of our planet.
The American people and the Venezuelan people are fighting for the same future.
We, the American people, must stop the WAR on Venezuela not only because it is the right thing to do but because ANYTHING THAT SRENGTHENS OUR ENEMY WEAKENS US.
We can do this, we must do this.
