The Commencement Address by Cecilia Culver is an important contribution to this debate. As the Israeli/US genocide of the Palestinian people intensifies, the voices and actions of American students are very clear.
The words of Cecilia Culver are a clear message to us,
“I cannot celebrate my own graduation without a heavy heart, knowing how many students in Palestine have been forced to stop their studies, expelled from their homes, and killed for simply remaining in the country of their ancestors.” 1.
We can never forget! We must always oppose genocide!

“Cecilia Is why I have so much faith in our youth and the Zoomers. They have always been at the forefront of social change and on the correct side of history. It took a lot of courage to stand up for Palestine. They will not be cowered. Now let’s see what the Fascist Israeli Zionists and the U.S. (Trump) does to try and punish her. Every time they attack defenders of the Palestinians and democracy they create more young American revolutionaries. This was a revolutionary act. It brought me to tears.
