Trump Pardon Means
Class War
Class War Begins
On the first day of his second term in office, Trump pardoned 1,500 individuals that stormed the Capitol on January 6, 2021.1 Among the five people who died in the melee is Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick whose surviving brother declared “the man who killed my brother is now president.”2

U.S. to be Ruled by Billionaires ?
Trump’s pardon signals his intention to end democracy in America by any means necessary. Trump intends to replace what is left of democracy with the enhanced rule of the one percent, the billionaire class determined to make America free for corporate plunder, and where the power of government is for sale. Trump’s son-in-law sent this same message last year when he stated, without irony, that Gaza is valuable “waterfront property.”3
Democratic Party Supports Billionaires
The Democratic Party opposes real democracy because it also serves the billionaire class. In response to the 2007-09 financial meltdown, President Obama gave trillions to bail out the banks who then used that pay out to buy more houses and apartments, accelerating the current housing crunch that has pushed up rents and created more homeless. President Biden said the economy was “great” despite skyrocketing food prices and a broken health care system. Biden sent billions of dollars in arms to Israel who then proceeded to inflict genocide on the Palestinians living in Gaza and the West Bank.
Democracy Must Support the Working Class
Real democracy must be the will of the majority, for the majority, and first and foremost this means the working-class. With modern technology and knowledge, the fruit of real democracy is beyond imagination. “Humanity has the potential for economic security and abundance. A community of the people, by the people, and for the people, where children can grow in peace, is possible as never before. Or–if we do nothing—we face increasingly unlivable conditions caused by private ownership of the wealth that human labor has created.”4
