Trump’s plan for Gaza is not a Joke!

Israel’s Goal is to Seize Land not end Terrorism

When Trump declared that the “US will take over Gaza …. We will own it,” he was stating what has been in the works for a long time. From the start in 2023, the goal of the US/Israeli genocidal war on the people of Gaza has been ethnic cleansing.

U.S. Owns the Gaza Genocide.

In fact, the U.S. already “owns” the genocide in Gaza because the bombs, bullets and arms Israel used to destroy Gaza and murder Palestinians are American made and American supplied. Biden gave Israel $17.5 billion in arms and Trump is going to send another $7 billion.¹

Greater Israel Plan of 1897.

The Israeli goal is Greater Israel. Since the founding of the World Zionist Organization in 1897, the plan has been to establish Greater Israel, an area that includes Gaza, the West Bank, Southern Lebanon and parts of Syria. To accomplish this, the Zionists need to drive out the Palestinian and Arab people who live on this land.

Ethnic Cleansing.

The goal is ethnic cleansing. In 2023, Israel’s finance minister, Bezalel Smotrich said, “the voluntary emigration of Gaza Arabs to countries around the world” was “the right humanitarian solution for the residents of Gaza and the entire region.”²

Gaza is the third Zionist ethnic cleansing. The Nakba (1948) Click Here was the first, 400,000 Palestinians driven from their homes. The Naksa (1967) Click Here as the second, 300,000 Palestinians expelled from Gaza and the West Bank.

Trump’s Plan for Gaza.

Trump let the “cat out of the bag”. Trump did not think up transforming Gaza into Greater Israel’s luxury beach. It has been in the works for a long time. Last year Jared Kushner praised the very valuable potential of Gaza’s waterfront property,³ and David Friedman, Mr. Trump’s first ambassador to Israel, said he could not help but imagine the possibilities presented by 25 miles of sunset-facing beachfront.⁴ According to an Israeli real estate agent, Gaza land “will be a bargain. Properties in Tel Aviv next to the sea cost $5m-$13m. Here we can sell cheap.”⁵

Democratic Party Attacked pro-Palestinian Democrats.

There is no Voice for the Palestinian People in the Democratic Party. The leadership of the Democratic Party condemned Trump’s open call for ethnic cleansing, and then attacked pro-Palestinian democrats, such as Rep. Rashida Tlaib and the Uncommitted Movement.⁵ Claude Taylor, chairman of the Democratic Mad Dog PAC and former Clinton White House staffer, urged people to call Tlaib’s office and “tell her she’s a f***ing idiot.”⁶ Netanyahu just met with Senators from both parties to ensure that the bombs keep coming to Israel.

Demand Justice for Palestine.

If we want peace and justice, we are going to have to do it ourselves. The twin parties of capitalism support Israeli genocide in Gaza, the ethnic cleansing of Gaza and the West Bank. The parties may look different, but it is a question of style not substance. We are poor because capitalism and the US government are designed to steal our wealth and give it to the rich.

Third Party.

It is time for working and poor people to form our own party. There is no other way if we are going to stop the Trump/Musk assault on our lives and future. There is no other way to save the earth and its people, ensure justice and peace, and provide housing, food, healthcare, and education for all.
