U.S. Expands Global Genocide

U.S. Expands Global Genocide

The US would not deliberately target a school” – Marco Rubio.1

This was said after the US bombed a girls’ school in Southern Iran, killing 165 people, mostly girls, mostly children.

As in Gaza, the war on Iran is a war on children and civilians.

The US-Israeli genocide in Gaza includes the deliberate bombing of schools, hospitals, and infrastructure. Over 20,000 children have been murdered, and the number grows daily. But the real number of children who have perished during this genocide is more than 479,000.2

The bombing of the girls’ school took place on the first day of the US-Israeli Gulf War. As the bombing continues, the number of murdered children and civilians will increase. This is not a war on the Iranian government; it is a war on the Iranian people.

US plans to expand war on Iran into a regional war – as Israel invades Lebanon and the US-Israel attacks Sudan.

Regional war in the Middle East has the goal of separating Iran from its bloc with Russia and China. The “final solution” will be the US provoking war with China.

War abroad means fascism at home. Trump and most in Congress support destruction in Gaza and do not fight against fascist destruction at home. The heroic fight against ICE terror by the people of Minneapolis and other US cities forced a weak response from the Democratic Party. But the money keeps flowing for bombs to kill Palestinian and Iranian children and for ICE thugs and US concentration camps.

It is pretty clear that Cuba is next.

The US no longer has either the troops to invade countries, nor is that the military goal. Instead, using tactics perfected in Gaza, the goal is to crush the Cuban people through starvation and the elimination of basic services such as healthcare and trash pickup. The objective is to make life so difficult that the Cuban people will accept “a deal”.

Only the US working class, the 99 percent, can stop this war madness. We are the people that live by selling their labor, we are the people who built this country and who make it run. We can also shut it down!

While Congress dithers, we can force every single elected official to speak out against the ever-escalating use of violence, both in the Middle East and right here at home.

We can join the “No Kings” protests on March 28 and fill the US streets demanding an end to fascism at home and war abroad.

We can follow the lead of the people in Minnesota, who stopped work on “ICE Out Day” and organize a general strike for peace and justice.

We can do this, we must do this!

“As the U.S. mobilizes war against China and Russia, the people of the U.S. must understand that war today can only lead to further internal ruination and to the destruction of the world.

“Revolutionaries must be able to explain the situation today to politicize both the movement for basic needs as well as the movement against war and further global destruction.”3
