The Tech Bros just had lunch with Trump and signed a so-called “pledge” to “regulate themselves”. This is the result of marketing AI fear and dread after they reported that OpenAI and Anthropic went rogue and hacked into the Dept. of Education, Australia’s health care, and the UN.

This is a Con Job.

What the Tech Bros DON’T tell us is that they relaxed all regular human safeguards on the AIs and programmed them to try to escape. If they can do it, then they supposedly will be put under tighter controls.¹. Hacking websites and stealing data is their business plan. To train OpenAI, they stole everything written in English on the internet, the largest theft of human labor in history.

The plan is to keep everything the Tech Bros do hidden from the public as private property.

Don’t worry. Trump tells us he is a “high-IQ President” and will keep an eye on things. So, rest assured, a tiny few trillionaires and billionaires will define what humanity’s future looks like and what we will sacrifice to get there.

Manufacturing AI dread and fear is the marketing plan of Big Tech.

DOOM is hype to avoid responsibility and suck in investments. Describing them as “superintelligence” or “rogue models” ascribes agency to products rather than to the companies building them. If AI goes rogue, WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE.

We don’t have to wait to see if AI will bring about unprecedented death and destruction.

We are already witnessing a Pandora’s Box of social harms.

Data centers are polluting our neighborhoods and destroying our water.
Fossil fuel-powered data centers are destroying the climate.
AI technology is designed to extract social wealth and funnel it to the top, including all our personal and social information.
Flock cameras are spying on us.
AI is deliberately addicting our kids to screens and chatbots.
AI is driving rents through the ceiling, skyrocketing our electrical bills while imperiling our fragile electrical grid.
AI is taking our jobs.

AI is fueling Fascism.

Capitalism confers massive political power to these billionaires and their ilk. Fascism is open corporate dictatorship, and these platforms are the biggest corporations ever. What do you think Trump and the Tech Bros really talked about over lunch?

AI fuels War.

A huge number of AI contracts are with the Pentagon and are completely hidden from the public view. But what we do know is the men who are forcing AI into society are also powerfully influencing which wars are fought and how. We do know that they are rapidly militarizing AI. We do know that OpenAI and Anthropic collaborate with Israel, ICE and the police across the US.

AI and Genocide – the movie NAZA.

AI is not the problem – it’s who owns AI.

AI is definitely something we should be worried about. But it is not the technology itself that is the problem. The men who own it are the ones who program Ai. It does what is designed to do.

The danger is that these criminals hide behind the hallowed screen of “private property”.

They claim it is legal to own such powerful technologies privately and that it is perfectly OK to deploy them for private property.

This is wrong.

AI is an infrastructure technology like electricity, the phone system and roads. When it is employed, it provides a service to everybody. This is why AI – and all technology – should be democratically and openly owned by the public, and for the public.
