One Struggle, One Enemy, Many Fronts
On July 18th., tens of thousands of Americans stood up and said ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!1
We came together to say NO to:
ICE TERROR – 70 protests and vigils
DATA CENTERS – 142 demonstrations across 42 states.
VOTER SUPRESSION – 600 events
The American people are learning how to fight against repression.
We are fighting because we have no choice. We are fighting all over the country for justice, health care, housing, peace, and a future for our children. This is what working people do; this is what we must do.
The small separate streams of resistance to data centers raping and destroying our communities, to ICE storm troopers, and the loss of our right to vote are growing community by community and slowly merging into a national force.
We are at WAR with the capitalists. Our lives, the lives of our children, and the survival of the planet are at stake.
We are the Working-Class, the people who supply the collective labor that produces wealth. The wealth that is stolen by the Capitalist-Class, which owns AI, the media, factories, banks, mines, and the government.
In solidarity with the many facets of our fight for survival, the Revolutionary News Today Collective encourages our readers to participate in an interactive webinar series hosted by Honor the Earth.2 The goal is to help local communities organize against the expansion of hyperscale data centers. The sessions cover effective campaign building, successful regulatory interventions to halt construction, and strategies to build alternatives to AI tools.
Our individual struggles may have different targets and different goals, but we have one common enemy- the Capitalist-Class – and one common goal – a just, peaceful and equal society.
We can win
We must win.
