We have the Right to Abolish the Government
“When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bonds which have connected them with another, they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.”
On July 4, 1776, the founders of the United States of America proclaimed the Right of Revolution.1
They declared that “when an existing governmental structure had outlived its period, it was the right of the people ‘to alter or to abolish it.’ Because all governments ‘derive their just powers from the consent of the governed’.”1
We have been taught that this was the beginning of freedom and independence for all of the American people. Indeed, the Declaration of Independence states: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”2
That is what the “Founding Fathers” said, but what did they mean?
All of the 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence were wealthy, and 41 of them owned slaves. They represented a small but growing merchant-industrial-capitalist class that wanted to break free from British colonial rule and exploitation.1
All of the rights stated in the Declaration of Independence were meant for men who owned private property, both physical – land, manufactories, banks, etc. – and human – chattel slaves. The clerks, journeymen, ropemakers, sailors, barrel and cask makers, smiths, small shopkeepers, farmers, and similar workers got empty words and false promises.
The 250-year history of the U.S. is one of repeated violations of human rights.
All aimed at protecting private property and ensuring that the Capitalist class gets richer off the labor and suffering of the working class.

The U.S. was founded on Slavery and Genocide.
The U.S. Government has used its power to protect and expand the exploitation of the American people and the people of the world.
From the ethnic cleansing and genocide of Native Peoples, to ICE terror, to genocide in Gaza, Lebanon, and the West Bank, and the starvation of the Cuban people, the U.S. has used its military and police to suppress and terrorize.
From Jim Crow Laws to the elimination of abortion rights, to the denial of free speech and gender rights, to the overturning of Civil and Voting Rights, the U.S. Government has used its courts to attack basic rights.
From the elimination of Medicare and Medicaid, to the destruction of Social Security and education, to environmental rape, to starvation in Africa, the U.S. Government has used Republicans and Democrats to ensure the transfer of wealth from the Working Class to the Capitalists.
The U.S. Government has been turned into a cash cow for the Rich.
Trump used the presidency to steal $2.2 billion in 2025, and Musk used federal handouts to become the world’s first trillionaire. The capitalists are growing richer every day by robbing the working class and destroying the environment.
The Capitalists are not only corrupt, they are also Immoral.3
They are attacking our children by protecting the Jeffrey Epstein pedophiles. They are separating families, throwing children into ICE jails, and deporting them.
The American people have opposed every attack on human and environmental rights. We have won some small battles, such as the elimination of open Jim Crow laws and securing the right to an abortion, only to lose these gains under the continuing attack by the Capitalist state.
Enough is enough!

On the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence from the British Crown, we declare that the American people are free and independent from the capitalist-led U.S. government and state.

In 1776, we abolished the private property of kings! In 1865, we abolished Private Property of human beings! The third time is the charm!
