Working Class Political Party Needed

In Gaza, Israeli soldiers shot a 16-year-old boy and then ran over his body with a tank. A 15-year-old boy holding a white flag — and his brother who came to his rescue, as well as their mother — were shot by an Israeli sniper. In the West Bank, a 14-year-old boy was shot by Israeli soldiers who stood by during the 45-minute period in which he bled to death, while firing warning shots at his mother when she tried to come to his aid.¹

THIS IS GENOCIDE!

On June 23, a UN commission announced its finding that “Palestinian children have been deliberately targeted and killed by the Israeli security forces, even after the October 2025 ceasefire.”^1,2 The UN study confirms that genocide is Israel’s policy in Palestine. This is re-confirmed by Israel’s own policy statements.³

June 30, 2026, marks the 1,000^th day of genocide in Gaza, the murder of children as a means to murder a nation.

UNICEF reported that more than 21,000 children have been killed and over 80% of the children of Gaza (800,000) have been displaced.⁴ But the real number of children who have perished during this genocide is much greater. More than 479,000 children have perished in Gaza, with the majority dying from malnutrition, lack of medical care, poor sanitation, flooding and freezing temperatures.⁵ In Lebanon, 253 children were killed and 1,036 injured during the 122 days since the March 2^nd Israeli invasion – representing 12 children killed or maimed every day. ⁶

Christopher Sidoti, a member of the U.N. commission, asked Israel,

“What kind of people are your soldiers, who would allow a 14-year-old child to bleed to death over 45 minutes? What kind of people are your military leaders who would inculcate a culture in which soldiers feel free to do this? What kind of people are your leaders when they give orders? They give statements that encourage this kind of conduct?”¹

This is not just a question for Israel; it is also for the U.S.A. Our country is complicit in the genocide in Gaza.

Leaders of the Republican and Democratic parties continue to deny their own complicity in the genocide. Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer cry crocodile tears over Israeli brutality in Palestine, even as they continue sending American tax dollars to support genocide.

The majority of young voters in both parties have unfavorable views of Israel, 84 percent of young Democrats and 57 percent of young Republicans.⁷ The US-Israel war on Iran is extremely unpopular and is opposed by 95 percent of Democrats.⁷

This is reflected by Avila Chevalier’s victory in New York’s 13^th Congressional District.⁸ Chevalier beat long-term, pro-Israeli Genocide congressman Adriano Espillat, who was supported by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC). At her victory party, supporters chanted “free Palestine” while she pushed her campaign’s “babies, not bombs”

The American people want the war and the genocide stopped, but politicians in both parties won’t stop it. Why? Because these politicians work for the 1 % capitalist class. War and genocide are profitable, and they provide cover for the simple fact that neither party has anything to offer the working class, the 99 % majority who must work for a living. Need health insurance? Need affordable rent? Sorry, we have a war to fight! A rich man’s war.

The working class must have its own voice to build a world where wealth is publicly controlled and divided equally among the peoples of the world, where war and genocide are relics of the past. We are the majority and we can choose our future. We must do this before fascism takes hold and tries to silence our voice. Fascism is the last desperate gasp of the ruling class to control us and our country.
