ICE Murder in Minnesota
The murder of Renee Nicole Good, a mother of three, by ICE storm troopers in Minneapolis is clear.
She saw a car pull up, then masked, unidentified thugs jumped out and tried to yank open her door. She did what anyone would do – she tried to drive away. So, they murdered her…. and walked away.
Renee Nicole Good was murdered less than 1 mile from the spot where George Floyd was murdered by Minneapolis police six years ago. An hour later, two miles away, I.C.E. agents attacked students and teachers at Roosevelt High School. The next day, I.C.E. thugs shot two people in Portland, Oregon – after they allegedly “weaponized” their car.
The mayor of Minneapolis told I.C.E. to “get the fuck out of Minneapolis!” But this is not enough. I.C.E. must be disbanded, the I.C.E. thugs arrested and the I.C.E. leadership thrown in jail.
JD Vance blamed Renee Nicole Good for getting killed by an ICE agent in Minneapolis, calling her death a “tragedy of her own making”; the FBI revoked Minnesota investigators’ access to evidence and took sole control of the investigation into the fatal shooting of Good. Trump and the head of Homeland Security called Good a “domestic terrorist”.
ICE has arrested over 1000 people in Minnesota.
As usual, most are citizens and have no criminal record. Everyone can see the truth – ICE is not going after “hardened criminals”. This is state police terror and no one is safe. Americans recognize this. Every major city has seen large anti-ICE protests in the last day! ICE isn’t going to stop escalating, unless we stop them.
Trump is looking for an excuse to abolish the mid-term elections this year by instituting the Insurrection Act.
Welcome to the new world that Gaza has ushered in: genocide of innocent people, fascists waging war in the US against the American people, the U.S. waging war in Venezuela and through around the world. Who knows what’s next?
Add this into a future of massive government cutbacks for health care and child care, ever-increasing rents and BS Gig jobs (if you have a job at all) that do not pay a living wage. That’s the life for the 99%.
It is no secret Capitalism as a system only works for the 1% who live off investments, rents, capital gains and exploiting other people. That’s the ruling class, the capitalist class, the group of people who have common interests and political power. They control society. They control the Democratic and Republican parties. They offer nothing but corporate dictatorship and governance by police terror. Oh yes, and tell us that there is no option but to join their feeble protests.
This is not the world we need or can survive in. They have no answers to climate and ecological destruction that destroys our communities. What is the basis of their power? Like with petroleum, capitalists claim the power to destroy what all need “because they own it”!
We can systematically dismantle this power if the 99% has its own political party, one that can lead a revolution and build a world based on cooperation, where everyone has what they need and looks out for each other. If we join together to fight for the common good, we have a beautiful world to win. Together, we the people can own the technology and the wealth so we can make the decisions needed to guarantee every single person what they need to survive and thrive.
