What Is Political Violence?

How to End It

Cole Thomas Allen tried to “attack” the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. Immediately after the incident ended, the media, politicians, and Trump administration lackies began demanding an end to “political violence”. To them, “political violence” is only a direct physical threat to the ruling elite and the people who serve them.

BUT POLITICAL VIOLENCE IS NOT an individual act of terrorism.

POLITICAL VIOLENCE IS collective violence intended to alter or preserve power dynamics. It is not just spontaneous rage, but a strategic use of physical force, intimidation, or coercion by the state to achieve political goals. (https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC3801099/)

POLITICAL VIOLENCE IS:

Genocide in Gaza, bombs in Lebanon and Iran, the blockade of Cuba

Children Starving in Yemen, Sudan, Somalia, Haiti and over 14 million in the U.S.

I.C.E. Violence, Police Brutality and the over 1.8 million people behind bars in American prisons

The attacks on education and healthcare, no housing, no jobs, the destruction of the planet, indeed, just about everything we are pissed off about.

POLITICAL VIOLENCE IS THE BACKBONE OF THE CAPITALIST SYSTEM.

Where the capitalist class, the less than 1%, who own the means of production – AI, media, factories, banks, etc., steal the wealth created by the working class, the 99%, who must sell our ability to work in order to live.

We cannot end political Violence by reforming the government, by passing laws, or by electing Democrats. It’s like getting rid of weeds. If you cut off the tops, the weeds grow back. You have to kill the weeds at their roots.

We can end political Violence at its roots by changing the system to “Share-and-Share-Alike Socialism” – From each according to their ability, to each according to their needs.

How would this work? Under Share-and-Share-Alike Socialism, we will end the private control of the world’s wealth. The people of the world will own AI, media, factories, banks, etc., and use them for the benefit of all. There will be no need for the 1% to violently suppress the 99% as the world’s wealth will be publicly controlled and divided equally among the peoples of the world.

Share-and-Share-Alike Socialism is the future and the path to a peaceful and just world.
