“The Communists are making their move,” Trump

YES – Here we come!

America’s wanna-be king just announced that the “Communists are finally making their move,” and that he has been “waiting and preparing for this for a long time.”^1,2 In the class war that is rising today in this country, the capitalist class will always trot out lies about communism.

Trump declared that “It’s easy to be a Communist — All you have to do is say, ‘I’ll give you everything,’ but that means you’re taking it away from others that have earned it. Over thousands of years, that Ideology has not worked once. The game is on.”^1,2

So how IS capitalism working for most of us these days?

Homelessness in the US increased by more than 32% in past two years. Almost every family is in debt. Student debt has crippled the future for millions. Over half of the American people report that their personal financial situation is getting worse, and the number grows every year.

Tax cuts for the rich, privatized health care, skyrocketing rents, curtailing government support for children and the elderly have combined with labor-replacing automation to increase inequality across the board.

Somebody is taking wealth from somebody, all right, but it is capitalists who are taking it from the poor.

As Wall Street celebrates “the first trillionaire” and glorifies more obscene wealth, did Elon Musk actually “earn a trillion dollars”? You know, Elon, the man who slashed USAID funding, causing the deaths of hundreds of thousands of children. As Bill Gates said, “The world’s richest man is effectively killing the world’s poorest children.”^3,4

Musk is actually a welfare recipient!

Decades of pro-billionaire politics have allowed the ultra-rich to write economic rules in their favor. Musk’s vast wealth often obscures the fact that he is actually a very fancy welfare recipient, having taken at least $38 billion from the public coffers by even the most conservative measures.⁵

Musk earned more than $1 million a minute in 2025. How exactly do you do this?

Private Property and Personal Property

Capitalist wealth comes from owning private property, from owning, not from actually working. Private property is not personal property. Personal property are the things we use every day, generally our personal possessions.

Private property refers to the property claims that allow someone to seize and exploit the labor of other people. Capitalist private property refers to land, AI, media, factories, banks, and to investments, stocks, financial securities, dividends, and capitalist rent. Private property is the way that capitalists steal the wealth created by the working class, the 99%, who must sell their ability to work in order to live.

So, no, Donald – your class did not “earn it”. You certainly didn’t.

And, yes, Donald, it is easy to be a Communist! It is what human beings are built for and what we need to live a full, peaceful, and happy life. The first step towards providing everything for everybody is to abolish private property! Then we can, with true democracy for all at every level, organize a system that benefits us all.

By communism, I am not talking about ideology but about taking the private property of the capitalist class and making it public property for everyone. We are not talking about the working class’s personal property. Property like homes, cars, etc. That which they earned through their hard labor. Frankly, most folks don’t own their homes and cars anyway. The banks do.
